Ham Builders specialises in refurbishment and extensions. We have a team of qualified tradesmen and are happy and able to take on a range of tasks/projects. We’re skilled and experienced in fitting kitchens and bathrooms, carrying out loft conversions, landscaping gardens and more. Our service includes a structural engineer and designer and we can assist you with planning applications. We have worked over the years with designers and architects and have a keen eye for detail. We’re happy to work alongside you or your architect/designer to ensure you get what you want.

Clinton Horace Ham, the director of Ham Builders, has over 20 years experience in the building trade, which began with an apprenticeship when he was 15 years old with a local reputable building firm in Devon. Three years later he qualified as a bricklayer and plasterer and he gained skills working as a stone mason during this time.

In 2003 Clinton went to Italy and completed a course in Italian marble and natural stone finishes. He took the opportunity to explore and gain experience and qualifications in different methods and finishes in plaster.

In recent times Ham Builders has fitted out a shop and most recently refurbished a house in Balham, which included structural work and an extension.

Ham Builders believes there are three main elements in the client builder relationship, which are important to ensure things run as smoothly as possible. These are:
